Today, vulnerable children will be exploited, abused, and tortured as they are forced to have sex with countless men. They have no where to hide and no one to protect them. I feel very sad and helpless today as the fate of these children are in the hands of law enforcement and the sex demand (purchasing sex)! The biggest thing I can do today is educate and help spread awareness. I hope you find these tips helpful as we reduce suffering together!
1. Remember that sex is a natural human need. Please do not feel ashamed to have sexual thoughts and desires. It’s normal! We all have them. Embrace them! Reducing shame allows us to explore our desires and often leads to more consensual forms of sex.
2. Remember that trafficking victims are disguised as prostitutes and the amount of money they bring to their pimp determines how little or how much they will be beaten today. Because of this control, they will do whatever it takes to convince you that they want to have sex with you. They don’t.
3. Remember that we cannot take behaviors away, we have to replace them. If you have the urge to have sex today, do not refrain from seeking arousal, get it in other ways. Swipe on a good ole dating app, booty call your favorite fuck buddy, and if you can’t find anyone to have consensual sex with... remember that porn and your hand can be your best friend 😉
4. Remind your friends that exploiting children isn’t cool. Encourage them to seek sex in other ways as well.
