Our Thai Family
The Women Against Taboo Foundation is currently sponsoring three Thai children as well as their mother and grandmother. The family currently resides in Bangkok, Thailand and depend greatly on our foundation for economic stability and shelter. The family was abandoned by the father several years ago which forced them into extreme financial insecurity. The mother whom we will call "Maggie", was forced into survival sex work in order to provide basic necessities for her family. We met Maggie in 2019 and began assisting her financially in June of 2020. Scroll down to hear our story together!
What is survival sex?
