Why Fraternity seminars?
We only offered seminars for sorority chapters in the previous 2021-2022 school year. However, the most common question Taylor received from the women was, "When are you going to the fraternities and teaching them this?" So, queue the 2022-2023 sexual pleasure seminar for fraternity men!
What it is
This seminar aims to provide young men with information and ideas related to their sex and sexuality that they may struggle to find online. Most collegiate men have access to health centers, doctors, books, and, frankly, the internet. Much of the topics that sex education seminars, conventions, trainings, ect discuss mainstream ideas of consent, STI’s, and overall physical safety. Although those are very important in the health and wellness of individuals, these areas focus on a model that addresses sexual wellness. However, it does not address the concept of a term I coined called Sexual Wholeness.
The difference is that sexual wellness is considered the state of being in good sexual health. This includes things like getting prostate or rectal exams, testosterone testing as necessary, identifying contraception techniques, ensuring the absence or reduction of STI’s by using condoms, and getting the HPV vaccine. Sexual wellness is also about feeling pleasure and connection to your body’s needs and desires, like understanding what type of intimate relationship you’re ready for, what makes your body feel good, and being able to recognize what it needs to feel good.

Sexual wholeness is all that sexual wellness covers and also refers to restoring the damage that has negatively impacted one’s ability to achieve sexual wellness. Things like reclaiming sexuality after abuse, societal stigma, familial, community, or religious teachings, improving self-esteem that may have been dampened through an individual’s experiences over the years. Writing a new narrative about what it means to be a man in a particular society and how those views and expectations align with your own. Understanding how actions in our everyday life shape our experiences with ourselves and our relationship to our own sexuality.
The seminar is heavily focused on a bio, psycho, and social model, emphasizing social and psychological aspects as primary areas of focus, followed by physical elements. The four major topics discussed include

To be more specific, I compare the arousal cycles of men and women and how this information can facilitate more pleasurable sexual experiences for both male and female partners. Part of this focuses on showing biologically why the current "normal" flow of heterosexual sexual encounters completely disregards the female's sexual response cycle. I then discuss the medical community's trends for young men with erectile dysfunction. I discuss how to prevent and identify the problem, common cycles men fall into to hide or self-medicate for their erectile issues, and ways to better manage and/or treat them. Ultimately, in this seminar, I tackle common sex-based issues and provide evidence-based methods on how all partners in a sexual interaction can have mind-blowing sex!
